Unfortunately, at this time we are no longer operating a rescue. We are not actively fundraising for our animals and will not be doing adoption events as Dot's Place in the forseeable future. We are working on a plan for future work as Dot's Place, but until then we will be volunteering and working with other established rescues here in the Upstate and elsewhere in the State and Country to help as many animals as we can in other ways. You may see one or both of us at adoption events in the community for other rescues, and we encourage you to support those rescues when you see us. They do good work. We appreciate everyone who has worked with us over the last decade to help save animals, and hope to continue the good work that we do and continue helping with activities like TNR which is desperately needed. While we may fundraise for these outside activities from time to time via social media, all funds will be directed to the rescues that we are working with.

Unfortunately this also means that we can no longer accept any animals for any reason into our rescue. We will still be working with other rescues to relocate those with special needs to rescues that can help them.

We will also no longer be able to redistribute pet food to families in need. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will be happy to help connect anyone in need with other rescues that can help them.
